My Notes
My Notes is a mobile app that is designed for people all of ages to use. The app has easy access to favorites, export notes to pdf, undo and redo feature along with a feature to increase text size. The main goal was to make sure the app was simple and user friendly for anyone to quickly understand and easily make a quick note.

When beginning the research, I thought a good way to find great feedback when people use a notes app was read reviews of other note apps and going through comments users have posted on what they liked and what they wish the app had to make the experience better. So, I decided to pick Google Keep Notes and Apple Notes since those are two popular note apps.

Why can't I undo deleted text

I love the app and use it a lot but for some season it won’t let me undo something, two times now I’ve accidentally deleted something from notes in the next part and when I use three fingers to undo like said on google it doesn’t work. Giving 2 stars it’s a good app but this is making me mad
Add “Undo” button!

Can’t Change Font Size

Love the simplicity of the app but why can’t you change the font size. A simple update would make this app way better.

Search function is hit or miss.

Why does search function never have consistent reults. Search is not very good. When I search in gmail, I get other results for the same keywords. I Don’t have confidence in finding things the first time. Please fix.

User Research
After gathering the research from comments, I thought another great way to get research was to ask people face to face their feedback when using a calendar app, so I created a 3 question survey and asked 5 people between the ages of 25 and 40.

Final Product
With using the wireframes and looking over the research the process of designing the finale product came together nicely.
User Testing
Once the design and prototyping were completed, I got 4 out of the 5 individuals from the user research to test out the product to see how the experience would go for them. Along with asking them questions on how they felt using the product. During the test I had some tasks for the users to complete such as logging in, create a new note and return to all notes, go to account, and delete one of the notes from favorites.
Conclusion
Besides the edit option when deleting a note having some trouble at times which I did end up fixing, the test was a success. I'm very pleased with the results and feedback I got from the users.
- I like how it's easy to understand and navigate
- I like the way the notes are aligned and easy to see with a date when made
- I like that you added a search bar, it will definitely come in handle when having lots of notes
- I like how you can quickly favorite or unfavorite any notes at anytime without having to go into that note
Update has Issues

The search bar works sometimes, u have to reboot the app multiple times to search for keywords in the notes, please fix, I store my clients emails in notes and now I have to manually find their email, make’s business slower.
